I am very happy with my Marine Star!! It is not gaudy looking. Quite the charming timepiece.
I own a high end Swiss watch. Perpetual movement; I could never go back to a battery powered timepiece. Not only is this Bulova beautiful, it keeps excellent time. It is a stunner.

I ABSOLUTELY ADORE my new Bulova watch!! It is elegant yet sporty and I wear it for sophisticated evenings as well as for everyday events. I love the face with its stunning details, from the classic look of the Roman numerals to the jeweled numbers in between. The gold band makes the beautiful dark navy blue face stand out with stunning style. The opening on the face, which reveal the inner workings of the time piece, draw one’s attention to the glass back which exposes the delicate workings of the inner gears. Simply put, I love my Bulova so very much that I find myself looking at it throughout the day which truly enhances the moment! In other words, I really do “ watch” my watch with great joy and gratitude! So, thank you, thank you for making such an elegant time piece that I will undoubtedly enjoy for the rest of my life!!!!
