I purchased this watch direct from Bulova last week at the discounted rate and was very pleased when it arrived with the quality of the watch, especially given the price paid for it. The bracelet was easy to adjust (push pins),the case and bracelet finishing is great and the vintage look is spot on from the original. The 39 mm size is just right, the bezel aligns perfectly and it's keeping pretty good time, running just a bit fast but within specs. I think Caravelle could have a good future reissuing vintage designs from its past and providing great value for money, even if it costs a bit more than previous offerings. There is a strong demand for vintage designs and Caravelle could fill this nicely while leaving Bulova to meet the much wider expectations of a mainstream brand. This is a great first step for Caravelle and I highly recommend this watch.
The case size is perfect, the fitness is perfect, the weight is spot on, the bracelet is better than I expected. Bezel is a tad…cheap feeling, but it’s aluminium so the vintage look and feel is there. This should be a more expensive piece.
