Sea Hunter

The vintage inspired modern version of the Sea Hunter represents a great value in a classic watch. The classic diver watch style is rich with details, well made, and the automatic movement has been keeping excellent time. The size is just about perfect - not too large, not too small. If your looking for a classic diver style watch, I would definitely recommend the Sea Hunter.

Watch of the Year 2024!

This watch is not only fantastically positioned as a ISO certified diver (200M and screwdown crown) for under $400, its even in a classy case size, and it even is a reissue of a legendary dive watch with amazing history. This is a marriage of price, quality, design and history, this is what being a watchmaker is all about in the modern era. This watch is literally so nice I feel the need to buy a second one sometimes because I love it so much I panic it won't be available one day.

I really like this watch. A good size at 38mm, with a traditional dive watch vibe. For the price, it's a banger that I plan on keeping.

EDC Seahunter

This new Caravelle Sea Hunter has joined my everyday carry rotation. Im not much of a dive watch enthusiast since I've never been more than ten feet under water in my entire life and have no plans to be. But this new Sea Hunter can kinda pull off field watch vibes since it's not ridiculously big nor pretentious like so many watches. Quality is fantastic and the price point is a bargain especially now during Thanksgiving sale deals. Milled clasps are overrated marketing. I just want one that works and this one does so without adding much weight or bulk. The pièce de résistance is the domed crystal. Well done Bulova! A flat sapphire would have ruined this piece. I dont need sapphire glass. That's more marketing mumbo jumbo. If you're on the fence about buying this watch don't be. Just buy it. You're welcome.
