Pretty, but quality is concerning

The watch came in a beautiful box, and it looked stunning. However, the watch was a gift and after one day of wearing it, I was informed that the black was already starting to come off of the band, which was a little disappointing, considering I thought this brand was supposed to be made of higher quality.
