Over the years I have gone through a good number of watches that depend on a battery. Yet the few watches I still have and use are a couple of very reliable old school wind-up watches that have outlived all others be it battery or wind-up, one being my late dad's old 1963 Bulova dress watch. This one is pretty good at keeping time and pretty darn close on staying in sync with my computer's time and is very easy to sync. This watch has proven to be tough and durable at work without scratches on the face unlike my other famous name battery dependent watches. I don't need to know the day or date. I just want the time. I'm impressed that I rarely have to wind it up thanks to the self wind feature. This is exactly what I want in a watch; simple, reliable and looks cool to me. I think it's definitely well worth it.
Bulova HACK got this a week ago. wound it and set time via gps satellite. put a reminder in my calendar for hack. 7 days later / +40 seconds. for a mechanical movement, the minimal drift is absolutely astounding! under +6 seconds per day is phenomenal. i’ve owned other mechanical analog watches that couldn’t even come close. Bulova is my new brand.
Beautiful solid watch! It is simple elegance that is appropriate for every occasion!
Great watch, Looks much better in person and on my wrist. This is my second hack watch. Love them.
