Beautiful watch, I loved it until I woke up and there was a crack through the entire crystal. The watch was never dropped and was worn for less than a month. I am a very careful watch wearer and have never had a crystal break on me. I can't believe the poor quality from a Bulova watch. So disappointing!
I have 3 Bulova watches and I am currently into military field time pieces. While a blue dial is an interesting color, Bulova should have reissued the original black dial Type A-11 known as the "Watch that Won the War released during WWII. They could also issued a white or off white dial versions. Bulova, one of three original watch companies commissioned by the U.S. Military to issue filed watches during WWII, has a rich heritage. Unfortunately, this blue dial watch does not capture that heritage.
The brilliance of this watch is how elegantly simple it is. It’s designed beautifully and looks both dressy and functional.
Got this for my husband who wanted a military style watch that was not too big. He wears a lot of blue as well so this really matched his style. He loved it and it is made with that time tested Bulova craftsmanship I have always appreciated.
