I have had this Moon watch for about 3 months now. I should say this is my only quartz watch. I usually only buy automatics and all far more expensive than the 96B251. The whole story about how it ended up on the moon. The design, quality of products used, and the interest in having the World's most accurate watch were all draws for me to try this watch out. I am glad to say I left my comfort zone and am thoroughly thrilled with this timepiece. In fact it has become my daily wearer. I was looking for a watch that had all the attributes of the moon watch but could withstand the daily beating I seem to put my watches through and still be right on accurate and take a little break from the other watches. This is the watch to have bar none. I also loved the multiple bands, and real world tool to change the bands out. I also put a distressed leather zulu band on as well and because the face is so clean and attractive you can wear countless bands on it. Will probably look into other Bulova varieties in the near future.
I've worn and showcased my Moon Watch for about a week now, without a doubt my new favorite. It's a great conversation starter as people have been attracted to it and approach me simply to ask what brand watch I'm wearing, which than turns into a full blown 30+ minute conversation on the history behind the Bulova Moon Watch amongst other topics. Overall I love it and would purchase again.
Living in Houston I have always been a bit of a space geek. My wife bought me a Precisionist a few years ago and I love it. It is a very stylish and accurate watch. The moon watch brings the accuracy of my Precisionist and my love of space history together. The Moon Watch is very stylish as well, with its black face and white markings it has a sharp look. It is a solid watch, it has some heft to it which is nice. Love the sapphire crystals on both my Bulovas. Thanks Bulova for proving that excellent time pieces aren't all made abroad.
I have fell in love with this watch . The design is perfect! I love that it is a throwback to the original but with newer age technology. The 262 khz movement was a great addition to this watch. Oh and that price point to top it all off !!! Thank you Bulova! Did I mention I love all things Nasa and Space.
