Bulova Chronograph

Picked up one on-line last week with the stainless steel bracket and could not be more happy. function and accuracy are spot on. The perfect mix of old school on the outside and high tech on the inside, with a cool back story to go along with it.

Cool!

This leather strap set comes with commemorative nylon/velcro astronaut style strap also in addition. This watch feels strong like a rock! The 2nd Gen version with the futuristic retro font branding without date window is more closely styled to the moon watch, but both models have new details that the prototype watch did not have, such as '262kHz' on the seconds sub-dial, a tuning fork logo on the crown and the spelling of tachymeter/tachometer but it is nice having a date window on this 1st Gen model. FYI, these sub-dials have a different layout than the prototype and different guts as with both Gen versions - I think. It is so cool to wear a watch that was worn walking on the moon!

Beautiful / Wonderful Timepiece - Perfect !!!

I just received this new watch and all I can Say is its an awesome Timepiece!!! Very Comfortable Gorgeous to look at and with this movement it will be super accurate. During High School, I worked at Carl’s Diamond Brokerage aka Carl’s Jewelry in Muskogee Oklahoma. One of the Watch lines we carried was Bulova. I still have the first “expensive watch” I purchased In 1968 which was an Accutron 214 Cushion Shape in 14Kt Solid Gold. It Was Florentined around the bezel. Beautiful!! I still love that watch. I replaced the Battery about 2 weeks ago. My Grandaughters love to hear it “hum” I love Bulovas! We carried Bulova, Hamilton, Longines, Omega, Rado, Rolex, Wittnauer, and several other brands. Our Watchmaker was German and he could make parts if we couldn’t get them from a manufacturer. My father wore Bulova! I’ve been a life long Bulova man!
