Always wanted an Accutron chrono, and this one exceeds expectations. Appreciable size and weight, elegant yet utilitarian styling, unusual lineage and backstory, plus affordable price point made it an irresistable value package from which I could not turn away! Pride of ownership; yes. Seen on everybody's wrist; not likely. Houston, there's definitely no problem here!
This is a lot of watch for the money. The watch is super accurate. The finish is top notch. The bracelet version is very classy. I am usually a NATO strap person. This bracelet is really nice. There is no reason to change it. I usually never wear quartz watches. This watch is the exception. I like the 2 beats per second. The sweeping seconds hand lands exactly on the marker. That is what kept me away from quartz for years. Bulova has me looking at more of there offerings now. My only gripe is the 60 minute totalizer. I wish it was a bit bigger. It sometimes leaves you guessing if 49 or 50 minutes have passed.
