I first purchased this as a gift for my spouse when we moved to Oak Park, IL, where Frank Lloyd Wright’s personal home and studio are located. This piece quickly became a favorite: a striking but thoughtfully in-audacious accent that rarely goes unnoticed, the thoughtful integration (of Wright’s work and tied to the classic “blueprint” of architectural design writ large) ties not just to classic styling for which Bulova is known (“timeless” feels both apt if somewhat oxymoronic!), this thoughtfully designed interpretation is true to its source while feeling modern and sharp. My only regret is that it is a gift one can only give so many times - and then I don’t have one for myself to add to my own collection! Even without a connection to architecture or the architect himself, this piece has never failed to make someone pause even just a moment before saying, “wow”; that should be the desired effect upon anyone who sees something to be appreciated.
I bought this about 2 months ago. It has become my absolute favorite watch of all the Bulova's I have currently. This with a grey/blue window pained 3 piece suit, brown leather belt, brown Magnanni shoes is my go to for big events. I've had more compliments on this than any other watch I've owned, even my Rolex "Hulk".
