I'm very happy with the look, quality and value of this watch. I enjoy just watching the sweep of the second hand, so clearly I'm a nut. But it makes me happy.
The dial color is so classy and stylish. This three hand watch shows all the qualities of Bulova watches. Simple and classic.

I purchased my Jet Star directly bbbthe crimson red dial and it is amazing! The case and bracelet look and feel cheap. The highly polished parts of the case and bracelet look like fake plastic chrome. Bulova needs to take a page from Seiko and Citizen on their fit, finish and bracelets. I am being generous in rating this watch 2 stars. The only reason for 2 stars are the dial and movement. Everything else is a 1 star rating. Would I buy this watch again? Probably not!
