Week One Impressions
Pros: * Bright and shiny face, looks good on the wrist. * The visible inner workings are really interesting. Wish there was a diagram indicating what the various parts do. * Seems to keep time reliably. Cons: * The leather strap has a quirky fastener, not a traditional buckle. Using it is not very intuitive. No manual or diagram was included in the box, nor is one available on the Bulova web site. This is a major omission. The strap itself is reasonably comfortable once you figure out how it works. Nitpick: * The goldtone hour and minute hands blend in with the gearwork and watch face making them a bit hard to read at times. Darker hands would be would more conducive to a watch's primary function, i.e., telling time.
