I bought this about 2 months ago to wear for a wedding. Now that the wedding is over i find myself wearing it every day.
I purchased the Marine Star watch with the silicone band for my son for Christmas. I had been to Paul's Jewelry for other Christmas presents and saw this watch. I came home thought about it; looked at it online, etc. and went back and bought it. It is the most outstandingly beautiful watch I've ever seen. I also bought the I Marine Star with the stainless band for a very close friend. He was with me when I purchased my son's and he tried it on and fell in love with it. I went behind his back and bought it for him for Christmas. Bulova hit the ball out of the park on this watch. It's a showpiece; but also a very practical every day watch. And you can't beat the price! Thanks Paul's!
This is my second Bulova purchase. Looking to start a collection and this is surely a fine addition! This watch is absolutely gorgeous in person. Almost don't want to wear it out, but of course that would defeat the purpose. The chrono features are cool and the fit/finish is very nice. The band is a comfortable leather looking rubber material with faux stitching. All-in-all, a great watch not just for the price, but period. Only have had it one day and already received compliments on it!
Bulova makes a watch that is not only beautiful, but very understated. The workmanship is excellent, the designs better and more robust than many of the higher priced watches and to be perfectly honest, when wearing my Bulova's because I have more than five of them, someone always asks me "Oh what kind of watch is that". And they are surprised to hear that its a Bulova. I love my Marine Star as it gets more compliments then my friends Rolex. The vivid colors of the watch faces and the nice leather bands are just great to wear on your wrist. The watches are comfortable and in may cases you forget you have it on. Congratulations to Bulova for designing and producing a great watch.
