Standard Version of MIL SHIPS W 2181

A great heritage watch for SCUBA divers and military enthusiasts. Buyers should be aware that the bezel lume on the standard only applies to the 1200 triangle. The Limited Edition, however, includes the authentic lume on the bezel for all marked indices. This significant feature is not described in any of the Bulova material on the website or catalog. The limited edition is pricey, but the best example of the original prototype. Yes, “reissue” is a misnomer since the prototypes were never released for production and distribution. Wonderful history behind this model.

The watch that wasnt until it was!

From the face to the strap and back up through the case and the bezel, man this is a great watch. I love the look and the feel and have already gotten some nice comments from fellow watch nerds. If Bulova can pull from their archive like this, they are going to be positioning themselves to shake things up and move on from the fashion watch label that seems to be its lot right now. Great work and good luck...oh and coming back to the bezel, the push to twist? Make it happen again and again.

Great history, great wear

[staff review] the watch is great but I’m continually blown away how comfortable it is. The strap size and comfort is the sneaky star of the watch.

Great watch.

Excellent vintage inspired diver and I would love to see more silhouettes like this from Bulova in the future.
