Im usually impressed with Bulova time peices. Looks elegant and tough. Never have to put batteries to it.
I never planned on becoming fascinated with watches, but thanks to my sons - in - law I was introduced to Casio and G Shock watches earlier this year. After purchasing 3 watches that I couldn't live without, up pops the Marine Star. Automatic, open heart, peekaboo back, and overall stunning. Took the plunge and purchased my ultimate watch. I've been wearing it daily for two months. I've tracked the reserve power at about 41 hours, and as to its accuracy, in 48 hours it runs about 8 seconds faster than my atomic quartz Casio. Much better than the range given in the watch description. It fits my 7 -1/2" wrist very well considering its 45 mm case. The quality is flawless, highly polished case, beautiful dial. Although it's a diver and good for 200 meters, I have no intentions of getting this beauty drenched. I'll save that for my G Shocks. Not having the date function is not a problem for me. Overall it has a very masculine appearance with just enough sophistication to wear to church. I have nothing negative to report.
Bulova Response
I got this for my birthday and love the gold and black style as well as the sturdy reliability. Although, I am not a fan of the red underside it is still a really nice timepiece.
I bought this watch about 2 and a half months ago and get a lot of compliments but now the watch won't work any more. Tried with movements and winding the arm in the normal position like the instructions tells you to but still not working. Needs to send in for repairs. :-(
