Don't get me wrong, this is a beautiful watch and is a wonderful addition to my collection. A wonderful gift from my wife, but, the disappointing part is that Bulova is supposed to be an American Company. I didn't expect the movement to be Japanese and the band to be Chinese. At over $400.00 for a watch, the band appears to be the same quality as other watches I have that were $150.00 or less. Since this is my first Bulova (I do have an older Caravelle) I guess I expected it to be a higher quality based on the name. I love a good time piece, Besides my wedding ring, its the only jewelry I wear.
I love the look of the red dial against the dark grey case. Goes very well with the Red shirts I wear frequently. The fact that I can swim with it is also a huge benefit
Love the watch so far. Really like the dark stainless steel bracelet and large watch face. Dark steel with red dial is very good contrast. Luminous hands are good for viewing in the dark. First watch I have bought for myself in 15 years. Very happy with the purchase at the sub $500 price range.
I love the muted red face and gray case and band. A little larger than I normally buy, but I’ve gotten used to it. I may buy another in a different color scheme.
