I just got the Brown dial in Rose Gold and it just a fantastic looking watch! The combination of brushed and polished finishes give it a handsome sophisticated look but without being to over the top. The rubber band has a nice wave design which makes it look a lot nicer that some other plain bands. And that beautiful combination brushed and polished buckle, wow! The sapphire crystal and Ceramic bezel gives it a very rich look. I definitely recommend this watch!
I was gifted a Precisionist by my wife over 20years ago. It finally stopped, only due to the hour hand slipping, and I hope I can find a good watch repair shop to salvage it! As a Father's Day gift my wife purchased a Marine Star, rose gold base, hexagonal, w/ Day calendar. I hope it too will go the distance. Only 4 Stars since there hasn't been sufficient years to justly rate its performance! I only wish they came with the SS chain link band. I purchased an aftermarket one with rose gold trim. Love the combination!
I manage a yacht so only fitting to have a dive watch, hence my decision to get the Bulova Marine Star. I've had the watch for two weeks now and so far, so good. I'm a big guy and the watch band was none too long but seems to work well with me using the second hole. If you are a large wristed person, you may consider asking for a larger band. I'm satisfied with the appearance and have had several comments on its appearance. And, as a bonus, they included a Bulova umbrella.

I love this watch. I have several Bulova Marine Star watches, and this is my favorite. There is a great contrast on the face of the watch, the brown background for the white hands and hour designators. It is very easy to read. The band is comfortable and the dial is black, giving a great contrast for this watch. I have this same watch in white. I would live to see this watch with similar features in both a dark gray or dark blue, with the rubber watch bands. Phenomenal watch!
