Movement Stumble

Bulova makes great watches and I have purchased a number over the years. This particular offering is attractive in many ways and is absolutely gorgeous. The blues are captivating without doubt. However, the watch would be far better with an automatic movement regulated to +1 - 4 seconds / 24 hours. A quartz movement, which this tribute to oceans is, I believe, described as being accurate to 15 seconds a month, is poor. So, Bulova, change the movement to automatic or at least give it that option even if the price rises proportionately. Then you will have a truly spectacular timepiece.

Nice watch

Very nice watch, lightweight, accurate (quartz). Very comfortable. Without a screw-down crown, I won't be taking it diving, though. A great value for the price

A Beautiful Timepiece

The entire "Snorkel" Series is just gorgeous. I had a hard time deciding which one to get... Blue is my favorite color and the shade of blue on the watch face and the band is just delightful. Another advantage is the band which is a basic strap with countless holes - so no matter how full or slim the wrist - it'll still fit. It's just beautiful, in addition to telling the time!

Beautiful, but the strap is very long.

I love this watch. It is my go to for a casual night out with my wife. However, the strap is too long. I don't want to put on an aftermarket strap that may not match the color. I wish Bulova would go with a long and short strap in the box like most quality aftermarket strap companies do. I have the standard 7.5" wrist, which most newer straps accommodate, older stretch bracelets not so much.
