Picked it up yesterday nice looking watch
Pondered making purchase but overcame my own resistance and ordered it sized to my wrist. It is SPECTACULAR. I’m a big guy so I have no issue that it’s “too big” as some say. It’s not. As they sized it for me, the removed links were not included so I called customer service and they’re sending links to me, no prob. I absolutely love the heft of it on my wrist & while I bought it for “me,” I know it’ll draw positive attention and will exert a certain status where a lessor watch simply cannot. If you’re on the fence, you deserve to have it man.
A beautiful watch, just the right size (43,5 mm), even if I have a small wrist. It looks good on the wrist, is easy to read and the Luminova is great. Operation of the chronograph is smooth. Of course, accuracy is outstanding with the NP 20 movement. No date, which is not a big problem but would have been nice to have. Same goes for water resistance (100 m would have allowed swimming). But, all in all, I’m very happy with my Lunar Pilot two tone (blue and beige dial).
Beautiful watch. I would recommend this to anyone trying to get a white dial, chrono to the collection!!

The New Lunar Pilot - Panda is the first Bulova I have ever owned. It joins the 17 other watches in my collection as a truly beautiful and unique addition. Amazingly - with some modifications I'll detail later - it fits comfortably on my 6.5" wrist. Outstanding design features: - The textured White dial with blue tachymeter ring, sub dials, and pushers provide a nice contrast to the shiny stainless steel case. - amazing +/-10 seconds per year accuracy. - smooth sweep of the timing hand rivals a mechanical watch. The running tenths-of-a-seconds sub-dial is crazy-fast and mesmerizing to watch. Although it stops after 30 seconds have elapsed, it will resume if timing is stopped and started again. -The varying depths: the raised dial is set off nicely by the applied minute markers, sunken minute track and sub-dials, and the tachymeter ring above it all which sits just under the crystal. The sub-dials and minute track have azurage (circular lines) for visual interest. -Easily swap the brushed and polished bracelet with the included matching leather NATO strap without tools. -Suede covered travel/display case with clear window on top is great for showcasing your watch. The NATO bracelet fits comfortably inside the lid, allowing you to take both straps on your travels. The only con for me is that the raised ring on the case back is perfect for grabbing arm hairs! How was I able to fit this very large watch on my very small wrist? Although thankfully the NATO strap fit using the very last hole in the strap, even after removing all the links I could on the bracelet, it was still too loose. I didn't want to resort to an aftermarket bracelet, so I employed a denim fabric adhesive-backed clothing patch and applied it to three places on the butterfly clasp. Success! The moral of the story is to not let the size of the watch deter you. Although I doubt I could wear the first Lunar Pilot, this reissue/redesign can be pulled off for those with smaller wrists.

Love the panda style dial. It is accurate, looks great and gets lots of comments. I have not tried the optional nylon band yet but not expecting any problems. I did have to add one link to get the right fit. guess my wrist grew between order and delivery. No problems there well within my capabiities
The blue panda version of the Bulova Lunar Pilot is as beautiful as it is functional. The high-accuracy movement is just that. The ability to quickly and easily switch from the bracelet to a blue leather NATO strap makes the watch versatile for either casual or dress use. The blue pushers give the watch a sleek, unique look not found on other chronographs. The textured dial is simply gorgeous. The history and heritage of the Lunar Pilot add to its value. Best of all, dealing with Bulova was a real pleasure. Not only did they give me a fantastic discount, but I also got free, two-day shipping and a perfectly sized bracelet. I've never had an easier online buying experience.
Bulova does it again with another well engineered watch. The detail on the dial, the time accuracy, and the comfortable stainless steel band makes this a masterpiece. The engineering is intricate with pleasing aesthetics. This Lunar Pilot has quiet elegance with a touch of ruggedness. I am able to wear the Lunar Pilot in multiple environments: casual, business, and formal. The versatility is superb.
Very nice to look at very legible fells nice on the wrist! Only thing that could improve it would be to add the date to it! If that doesn't bother you then this is the perfect watch!
The twelve o'clock large rectangle indices is slightly misaligned. It's closer to the 59 second mark than the 1 second mark making it impossible to align the chronometer seconds hand exactly in the middle. the 50 minute indices is also slightly misaligned. I could live with the 50 minute misalignment as it isn't really noticeable but the 12 o'clock is noticible at even the slightest glance. Trying to realign the seconds hand using the the manual adjustment method when the crown is pulled completely out either puts it just left of center or just right of center. I thought I was going crazy until I looked it the dial under a jewelers loupe and it all made sense. I'll contact customer service on Tuesday to see if I can get a replacement as I've worn the watch already. Outside of the misaligned indexes, this watch is spectacular. It wears very well on my 7 1/4" wrist. The bracelet is of excellent quality the dial is stunning with all of the different layers and the blue variant with the textured dial is really incredible. I think I just got one that has some slight QC issues.

Great watch however two weeks into having the watch the 3 o'clock subdial has misaligned itself. Every time I reset the chrono with the 2nd button it won't go back to zero. I've been looking everywhere online to find out how to reset it but I've come up short. This might need to be sent back for maintenance which is fine however you wouldn't expect this inconvenience on a chrono just shy of a thousand dollars.
Beautiful Watch. This watch has so much detail, pictures don't do it justice. The included bracelet looks incredible with it but putting it on a strap dials it back to casual - still stunning. The 43.5mm case is a welcome improvement - I hope an all-black version in this size comes out. And the incredible "262" movement! What an awesome watch.

Bought this watch a week ago after reading about it online. It is absolutely stunning and so comfortable and I really like the weight and solid feel to it. I have a 7.5" wrist and think it fits just perfect. Long time since I have worn a Bulova as I wear many watches through rotation including Omega, Tudor and Rolex. Bulova got this one right.
I bought this watch for my pilot husband for our anniversary. It is very classy and looks better in person then in the pictures. The leather strap is a little thin but matches well. He usually prefers leather, but the two-toned link band looks very nice! It is a solid and heavy watch.
I really like this watch. The white and blue "panda" look is very striking. I'm an automatic movement snob, but I have to admit, I'm loving the absolute accuracy of this watch. I tend to prefer bracelets and I like this one, but I hate butterfly clasps. I like the color of this faux nato strap, but not the strap. I bought a 2 piece blue leather band from bocane to wear with it and love it. If there's one thing I wish they'd change it's the color of the subdial hands, white would be so much easier to see.
