Hard to read because of dark background

Clock has dark background and hard to read without putting light on

Nice little clock

Bought this as a little gift to myself for getting a new job. It sits in my office. It reminds me of an old style speedometer. I've had to change the battery one time so far, but that was my fault. I guess I grabbed an older battery.
