Sea Hunter Re-Issue

One of the best re-issues available and perhaps ever. Impressed! Highly recommend to any watch enthusiast who of course can’t take their vintage Bulova’s / Caravelle’s swimming anymore like me!

Bought this watch on a whim and i am very happy that i did, i own several Seiko’s and micro brand watches and none of them offer the heritage and vintage style that this watch offers, “Devil Diver” i mean come on you gotta love that. The aluminum bezel has plenty of grip and is easy to turn but it is a little crunchy however I personally feel like it adds to charm the watch. The bracelet is what surprised me the most, it is very comfortable on the wrist and the quick disconnect is a great feature, the expansion link for a dive suit is also very nice and sticks to its roots of a true divers watch. Miyota movement is very reliable and accurate, so far i love the watch and will be wearing it as much as i can.

A nice revival of the classic Caravelle

Received my Caravelle Sea Hunter and I was surprised with the almost one for one recreation of the classic 70s original. The size is perfect for medium to smaller wrist sizes, although it could also look fine on a larger wrist, as it comes with plenty links. The Miyota 8215 hacking version, is accurate. The finished, is done to resemble the original, although I think the top of the lugs should have been brushed to match the bracelet, with the sides polished, just to give it a bit of a modern touch. The bracelet, could've used milled clasp instead of stamped and a sapphire crystal, but that would have shot the price up. Overall, not a bad revival, I'm happy with my purchase, but would have liked to see the brushed upper lugs on future models, and a possible milled clasp bracelet available as an accessory in the future.

No Brainer

A no brainer if you are looking for a vintage-inspired automatic diver. Proven movement, quality build, and beautiful fit on my ~6.75” wrist. Has become my daily since it arrived. Future improvements I would like to see are a no-date version with no ghost position, and a thicker application of lume.
