When it comes to watches and added them to my collection. I’m very picky. I’ve went to several jewelry stores looking for my next addition and I just couldn’t quite find the watch that I wanted so I went on the website install this watch after several weeks of not really knowing if I wanted to purchase it or not I decided to bite the bullet and added it to my collection and Man and I glad that I did. It is a beautiful watch. I get many compliments on it.
I own those watch 5 years... works perfect. Laser bracelet a little bit short for my hand... but still OK

Looks great. Anyone who knows watches knows it is a great piece. I get tons of compliments on it. Scratch resistance is awesome
I got this watch on my 21st birthday and I’ve been pleased with it ever since. I wore it everyday until I graduated college and I still use it on nice occasions. This watch has given me more complements than any other piece I own and has allowed me a feeling of luxury every time I wear it.
**This review is intended for watch novices, not experienced connoisseurs** I am a watch novice. Before this I'd only owned two watches, both pretty cheap, both from a different brand, one of them digital. They both ran on battery power. They weren't as fancy or good-looking as this watch, but they did tell me what time it was, accurately, every day. For the Bulova 96a120, it only tells you what time it is if you haven't stopped wearing it since the last time you set it. Meaning, if you don't wear it constantly, it stops working. It stops keeping time. Bulova boasts about this. It's an automatic watch powered by the wearer's movement. Pretty cool, right?! Yeah, cool technology. Too bad it doesn't tell you what time it is unless you tell it what time it is first. Apparently (NOT explained in the manual, but something I read here from a review) there is a way to wind the watch to keep it accurate overnight while you sleep. But even so, you need to wear it every day, plus wind it every night, for it to perform its function. And knowing you can't trust your watch is an additional problem -- if I'm checking it for the first time in a few hours, I can't be certain I can trust it because it may have stopped, so I check my phone afterwards to be sure. Kind of defeats the purpose. If those issues don't sound bad to you because you like the idea of setting your watch every time you use it, and you like the pictures, then go for it. I know plenty of people that sacrifice convenience and function for style. Just know before you buy: the Bulova 96a120 (and others like it, I assume) is the watch equivalent of a solid gold toilet that you have to plunge every time you flush, or a shower you can only use if you're clean. At least it looks great, but you don't need my review to tell you how it looks. Another couple of positives: I like the size of it on my wrist, and I think the colors look good. It's kind of annoying to get on and off, but reasonably comfortable once on. I noticed almost every review for this watch is positive, and the only critical reviews (with the same complaints as mine) have mostly "unhelpful" votes. But those reviews are accurate; I assume the downvotes are from Bulova fans who think those of us who expect our watches to keep accurate time even if we don't want to wear it every day are unsophisticated heathens. That's fine. But while Bulova does say in its marketing that the watch is powered by the wearer's movement, it doesn't say the movement needs to be constant for the power to last. The person who bought me this watch as a gift made the reasonable assumption that the watch would be functional even if I only wore it sometimes. "For $500 I thought it would keep track of the time," she said. But that's not the case.
I bought this watch and a womens watch last Xmas for me and my girl great watches l now have a collection of watches in a case displayed on the wall l put leds in the case which makes it hard not to just stare at all the watches.
I first saw this watch on display at a local store, and was immediately drawn to it's classic styling. The movement is a little thicker than I was initially looking for, but it's an automatic. The thing is spot on day after day and never fails to draw compliments while I'm seeing customers. I have several watches, all jeweled movement, but this one is my favorite. My wife wears a lady liberty from Bulova when we are out, so she has me on bling factor, but I don't have to wind mine! I received this as a gift from her and absolutely love it. I knew it was a quality product when I saw the box, but I knew it would be my favorite when I got it open.
Not too long ago I began my love for watches, and Bulova was the start of that love. I bought this watch not too long ago and have not regretted it a single bit. Certainly my favorite mechanical watch in my collection. Certainly caught the eye of many people.
It was a gift from my uncle. Couldn't ask for a better gift
I bought it about 2 weeks ago. Look so great! I like it alot and it design easy to match with any fashion. Perfect size in hand and it look amazing.

For what you get in this watch, it's ok, the dial could have been better, the roman numerals are not bright enough to stand out as is the lettering that says Bulova, automatic and 21 jewels. I think the inside of the seconds hand ring could be dial instead of open. i think the roman numerals could have been brushed metal to match the ring that the bright indices are located on.
I purchased this watch because of it's unique design. Very smart looking. However, in the three years, I have had the motor replaced due to failure and it continues to lose about 3 minutes per day. I expected more from a Bulova of this caliber. I had the option of battery-powered, but felt the mainspring better reflected the design intent. I suspect the band was vinyl but I replaced it.
