Great Simple Watch

I was looking for a simple watch that I could wear anywhere as I transitioned away from a smart watch. This watch is a great size, light weight, mechanical action, and looks great. I've enjoyed wearing it and often forget it's on. Glad I saw this looking through the catalog and grabbed one! It's a great watch!

Explain Hack

As a US Navy Instrumentman and mechanical calibration technician in the 70's, I was also a Navy watchmaker. This original watch was made by Hamilton, Benrus, Gruen, and a couple others and they were all the same style. But the purpose of a "Hack" was a mechanical lever that stopped the balance wheel and thereby stopped the watch so a group of military people could synchronize their watches for whatever reason. By pulling out the crown (winder) the hack stops the watch while you set it and then at the same time everyone pushes the crown back in which restarts everyone's watch to the same time. Just like in the movies!
