Pure and simple

Dad bought his first one while serving in the Marines in 1963. He had the hack watch for many years and put it through hell. I've had many cheap watches and they don't compare. Dial lights up great at night and shine a light on it for a few seconds wow! Go to strapsco.com and pick from a number of different bands. Pure and simple this watch is worth the money, you won't be disappointed.

Great watch, may need aftermarket band

Good: The watch is awesome! Faithful recreation of the MIL-W-3818A, and part of sales go to a great cause. Could not be more happy with the watch! Bad: The band is too large for average wrists. Only fits 7 1/4" thru 9 1/4" wrists. My 6 7/8" wrist left the fit too sloppy, and resulted in premature wear of the leather reinforcement around the last hole after only two weeks. You will need an aftermarket replacement band if you have a small to medium sized wrist.

Solid watch / Keeps perfect time

I bought this watch for every day use and it has not disappointed. It is classic in its simplicity and has held up well on the farm. We ride horses, muck stalls, drive tractors and move hay every day. No issues whatsoever. And it has kept perfect time since I purchased it 6+ months ago. I will be looking at another Bulova watch soon! Great value.

Beautiful timepiece!

Love the simplicity and execution of the design at a reasonable price. The movement on my particular example is well within spec on wrist. My first watch I can remember wearing as a child was a gift (a silver dial hand-wind Caravelle (by Bulova) and my father wore an Accutron back in the 70’s so it’s nice to have a Bulova back in the collection. The cathedral hands are a nice touch and the lume is surprisingly good on this watch. I swapped the original green nylon strap for a quality brown leather one I already own made by FinWatchStraps (see photo) which I think compliments the watch nicely. Overall I think it’s a great looking and comfortable watch to wear and enjoy.
