Although the band is a bit loose on my small wrist, the dial itself doesn't look big at all. It is a perfect field watch for small wrists!!

Really loving this 38mm field watch. Love that it harks back to the A-11 watch issued in WW2 by Bulova. My grandfather was at D-day so this is small way to help remember him. Beautiful domed crystal. Movement timing is quite good, better than the spec suggests. The single position crown is really satisfying to use and of course it's awesome that it hacks. Only complaint is the strap. I needed to add two holes, which made it fray, so I'll need to replace it with a NATO. Would love if Bulova included the non-VWI black leather nato strap too.
Great watch with ridiculous features for the price. Bulova has packed a lot in this automatic and it’s a dream to wear.
