I have 3 Bulova watches and I am currently into military field time pieces. While a blue dial is an interesting color, Bulova should have reissued the original black dial Type A-11 known as the "Watch that Won the War released during WWII. They could also issued a white or off white dial versions. Bulova, one of three original watch companies commissioned by the U.S. Military to issue filed watches during WWII, has a rich heritage. Unfortunately, this blue dial watch does not capture that heritage.
Sometimes over night the watch will stop running and I have to reset the time, and if it is automatic why do I have to do this and when I set the time sometimes, usually I have to smack the bezel to move the sweep hand. This watch does not function like a Bulova I bought years ago which is still running.
