Once I purchased a real strap this has been my new favorite watch. I was unsure about the 37mm diameter at first, as it is a bit small, especially compared to how thick this watch is, but without the NATO strap it really grew on me. Now I think it looks quite handsome. I would recommend making the watch less thick for future models, as aesthetically, it makes more sense to be in the 12mm-13mm range in thickness.
Bulova did an excellent job replicating the coin edge case of these watches and the case size is really nice as well, not too big or too small. I just can't wrap my head around why they gave it a blue dial and red seconds hand. I bought this hoping the blue would be darker and closer to black. I truly feel that if they would have stuck to the black dial and all white hands there would be no buyers remorse with this on my wrist. The movement does keep excellent time as usual and I wouldn't expect anything less from Bulova.
Sometimes over night the watch will stop running and I have to reset the time, and if it is automatic why do I have to do this and when I set the time sometimes, usually I have to smack the bezel to move the sweep hand. This watch does not function like a Bulova I bought years ago which is still running.
Beautiful watch, I loved it until I woke up and there was a crack through the entire crystal. The watch was never dropped and was worn for less than a month. I am a very careful watch wearer and have never had a crystal break on me. I can't believe the poor quality from a Bulova watch. So disappointing!
