Beautiful

I bought this watch for my husband for our 4 year anniversary. We saw it on a cruise ship and he loves it but refuses to buy it, so I surprised him with it later. He loves it. This watchbis beautiful. Very sturdy and feels great on.

I purchased my Marine Star 5 years ago. It has been the best watch I have ever owned. I am extremely hard on watches and it has survived everything and still keeps perfect time.

I am a watch collector with over 20 watches; Nothing super expensive like a Tudor or Rolex, but no junk either. This watch is a very good value....alot of "bang for the buck". I actually got mine under $200. I get alot of compliments and questions about it. My only regret is that it's a quartz movement, rather than an automatic, mechanical one. When you get the battery replaced, you will lose the factory water resistance rating, unless you have a qualified shop, capable of appropriate leak testing, do the replacement. My preference for automated mechanical watches is strictly a subjective thing. For the average user, quartz is fine, and it's actually more accurate over time. I'm just one of those "weirdos" who switch watches almost daily, so I have to reset each time anyway. The only other improvement possible woukd have been a sapphire crystal instead of mineral. But, I digress. It's still a great looking , serious time piece for the money.
