This watch is practical for casaul wear and elegant enough to wear with a suit. It is not too bulky and rather lightweight. I have received several compliments on the style. (I only wished I would have purchsed 1 weel later to get the memorial day savings)
This is a handsome bold watch. One reviewer posted pictures of his two Omegas next to this watch - to me that sums up the appeal of this Marine Star. If the Seamaster and Speedmaster had a love child, it would be this watch. You get the Omega vibe at a fraction of the cost and watch you don't have to worry about wearing as part of an everyday rotation. I've had it for about a month and I am pleased with it. Here are a couple of watchouts. 1) it is a large watch - it wears the full 45 mm. I have other 44-45 mm watches that "wear smaller". 2) There is a good bit of polished bright work in the bracelet that does not come through in the photographs (see the gold accents on the blue and green dial versions) - personally I'd prefer these to be the brushed finish. Overall, I like the watch - good looking and a good value (I purchased via an online retailer).
I bought one for myself about a month and a half ago. Thought it was so classic and elegant. That I decided by one for each of my son’s. They love it just as much even though we’re 30 years apart. It Represents all genres.
The watch is just what I was looking for. Large face, big bold piece. Paired with a suit it screams success.
