I'm very pleased with this watch. I came upon it by chance on the Bulova site and was struck by how much it looked like a much more expensive watch by another manufacturer, so I bought it on a whim. It was delivered quickly, and right out of the box I was struck by the quality feel. Its large face is the right size for me and the weight and finish all speak to quality. It keeps time accurately also. Nothing not to love!
The watch is excellent just what I was looking for, checks all the boxes the look the style the color but yes there is a but I would love for the lunar lights to be alot brighter at night. Can't see the time at night. Still a very good piece of machinery.
This watch is practical for casaul wear and elegant enough to wear with a suit. It is not too bulky and rather lightweight. I have received several compliments on the style. (I only wished I would have purchsed 1 weel later to get the memorial day savings)
This is a handsome bold watch. One reviewer posted pictures of his two Omegas next to this watch - to me that sums up the appeal of this Marine Star. If the Seamaster and Speedmaster had a love child, it would be this watch. You get the Omega vibe at a fraction of the cost and watch you don't have to worry about wearing as part of an everyday rotation. I've had it for about a month and I am pleased with it. Here are a couple of watchouts. 1) it is a large watch - it wears the full 45 mm. I have other 44-45 mm watches that "wear smaller". 2) There is a good bit of polished bright work in the bracelet that does not come through in the photographs (see the gold accents on the blue and green dial versions) - personally I'd prefer these to be the brushed finish. Overall, I like the watch - good looking and a good value (I purchased via an online retailer).
