Bought the Brenton back in 2021. Am just now writing my review. Like the watch, the champagne dial, the art deco style and it was reasonably priced. Didn't like and replaced the watch band with another. Would by another Bulova watch.
The Breton LE 96B331 salmon-color dial rectangular watch. It truly is a stunning watch. Can't help glancing at it often during the day. I really like the retro-style rectangular (not square) watches dating back to the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s designs. They look very elegant and subtle on a man's wrist, not drawing too much attention to themselves, but rather complementing the wearer, the way a watch should. I like deployant clasps so the one on this Breton LE is perfect with ample wrist-sizing room. The half-open display case back is unique and shows off the rotor. The Breton has a generous 38-hour power reserve so it will keep its timekeeping duties in between wearings. I have several retro-rectangular watches, including more Bulovas, but this Breton LE is definitely the star! Thank you, Bulova for Retro Nirvana!
This salmon dial bulova is very well made and with a SW200 movement, I see no complaints about quality at this price point, especially with the beautiful dial color and limited nature. I do wish there was an option with no date window, and an option for a shorter strap for smaller wrists (the strap that comes with it is a bit loose for my 6 inch wrist). Overall very happy with this purchase.
Just received this watch and it is a beautiful timepiece. Already know it will be one of my go to watches, and I have many. I would assume this will not be avail for long.
