First, they're fascinated by the color of the band. Then everyone looks at the face of my watch and they're amazed by what they're seeing. I’ve been looking for a new gold chronograph for quite some time. I finally found this watch in my local Jared store after checking several locations. This watch is even more impressive than what you see in the picture. I’ve had this watch a week now and received several compliments from friends and associates. A beautiful design that is not too heavy and the strap is very comfortable.
This is my second Bulova purchase. Looking to start a collection and this is surely a fine addition! This watch is absolutely gorgeous in person. Almost don't want to wear it out, but of course that would defeat the purpose. The chrono features are cool and the fit/finish is very nice. The band is a comfortable leather looking rubber material with faux stitching. All-in-all, a great watch not just for the price, but period. Only have had it one day and already received compliments on it!

Great looking watch! But mine came with a loose rotating bezel. This makes it rattle a lot which can be annoying. Would expect a little more quality/inspection for the price.
Beautiful timepiece. The gold and blue bezel are great highlights and finding the time in a dark room is easy although trying to read the Date inside that little window, is next to impossible unless I use my camera and zoom in. The tiny red digits are dull for my eyes. Perhaps if I want in my fifties and still had 20/20 seeing the little buggers would be a wee easier- and when I got it home I was second guessing my purchase
We picked this watch for my boyfriend together, I wanted to make sure the gift was a watch he truly would have bought for himself. When it arrived he was absolutely in love with everything about it! It's a beautiful watch.

The Bulova Marine Star is an excellent watch. It is absolutely beautiful, perfectly sized, and comfortable to wear. I have a large collection of watches, from Citizen EcoDrives to Breitling to Edox, and lots in between. This Bulova is one that gets worn as a daily possibly more than any other in my valet. The only thing I would change about it is the date is a bit difficult to read in anything but bright direct light. Everything else is perfect.
