Short story... I normally wear a two-tone Rolex Submariner. However, over the past few years I have started building a collection of mostly vintage Bulova watches. Their quality is well known and their style... Well, they never go out of style. I saw this Futuro online at discount being an in-store "try on" model. I absolutely LOVE IT! It has the heft of my Rolex and I really like the design! I appreciate the fact that the gold elements seem to be more protected by the stainless steel so when it wears... It will wear more on the stainless parts. Mine had a few scuffs on the stainless that buffed right out. This will be the ONLY battery powered watch I will own. All others are mechanical with most being auto-winding. All in all... A VERY well designed and built watch! Kudos to Bulova!

Treated myself to a carnival cruise to the western Bahamas, and they just happened to have a fine watch dealer inside the fun store on board the carnival freedom. Didn't want to miss the ship so I had purchased a cheap Walmart watch beforehand but was turning my skin green with that cheap metal. Decided to just take a look and omg the Bulova watches they had in stock were absolutely amazing. I actually purchased mine for a grand total of only $158, and seeing the MSRP at $395, I just couldn't pass it up. Wear this watch every day and never leave it at home. Will be a bulova watch customer for a long time to come!!!

It's a nice watch, but the setting instructions are not accurate, the clasp type closure is difficult to open and stiff to close. It took me about an hour to set the watch and then a few days playing with the day of the week to get it right.
We got this watch as a graduation gift for our son 4 days ago. He's worn it twice for less than 8 hours total. The glass is already scratched. It's a lovely watch, but that is just unacceptable.
