Really nice piece. Good weight, you know you're wearing it but not uncomfortable is any way. Day and date are really very nice... especially when traveling. I think the style is modern, yet has classic charm. Overall this has become one of my favorite timepieces.
Short story... I normally wear a two-tone Rolex Submariner. However, over the past few years I have started building a collection of mostly vintage Bulova watches. Their quality is well known and their style... Well, they never go out of style. I saw this Futuro online at discount being an in-store "try on" model. I absolutely LOVE IT! It has the heft of my Rolex and I really like the design! I appreciate the fact that the gold elements seem to be more protected by the stainless steel so when it wears... It will wear more on the stainless parts. Mine had a few scuffs on the stainless that buffed right out. This will be the ONLY battery powered watch I will own. All others are mechanical with most being auto-winding. All in all... A VERY well designed and built watch! Kudos to Bulova!
This is an amazing watch and fits perfectly on your wrist. It is a very simple but beautiful watch that just looks amazing and is very comfortable. For this quality and style pricing this watch a $396 is a complete steal.
I like watches and have several - and surely didn't need another one. HOWEVER - I'd been browsing the Bulova site and saw several that I liked - mostly chronographs. There are so many awesome choices. Then, I got an email with several watches that we on sale and the Futuro was one of them - and I immediately fell in love with it. My birthday was coming up so my wife decided the watch would be a great gift. It came quickly, was sized perfectly, and is absolutely wonderful. It's much easier to read than a chronograph and that's one of the reasons I got it. And, the band is simply gorgeous. I was challenged on how to open the band at first, but figured it out. I LOVE THE WATCH and would recommend it to anyone.
