The sophisticated polished silver-tone stainless steel case has a mineral crystal and features a winding crown guarded by a bow that adds a modern edge to this classic silhouette. The silver-white dial features blue roman numerals and hands, with a central aperture that offers a view at the timepiece’s inner workings. The skeletonized automatic movement that powers the watch has 21 jewels and a power reserve of 42 hours. The historic look is completed with a 15-inch silver-tone stainless steel chain that ends in a tuning fork spring clip for secure attachment. Beautiful pocket watch just beautiful
Beautiful watch. Looked for a long time for pocket watch for hubby. Gorgeous excellent craftsmanship. Info should be clear that watch requires winding. We only discovered this after it started to lose time. Conflicting insert lead my husband to believe it wound itself. Mechanical needs to be wound
A Pocket Watch with a Modern Mechanical Movement
The Bulova Sutton pocket watch was exactly what I wanted. It looks great particularly with the two modern attachments on the ends of the chain. More importantly, the watch has a modern mechanical movement which allows one to stop the second hand when setting the time. Most other pocket watches do not have this feature. Bulova should publicize this feature. Currently, the watch gains only two or three seconds per day which is excellent for a mechanical movement.
