Drawing inspiration from the incredible Bulova Super Seville Day-Date from the 1970s, the new Super Seville merges retro aesthetics with state-of-the-art Precisionist technology for a timeless modern appeal. The silver-tone stainless steel 38mm case has the versatility to be worn by most anyone and makes a bold statement with a seamless silhouette created by the retro TV-shaped case transitioning into the integrated 3-link stainless steel bracelet, which features a secure and convenient push-button deployant clasp. An elegant, grooved coin edge bezel enhances the case and surrounds the flat sapphire crystal and its date magnifier. The compelling dial is a verdant vertical brushed green, with polished hands and indices and a date situated perfectly at 3 o’clock. The new Super Seville is powered by our proprietary high precision quartz Precisionist movement, a revolutionary 8-jewel quartz mechanism vibrating at a remarkable 262kHz, accurate to seconds per year with increased resistance to temperature changes, and with a smooth sweeping second hand. This was a gift I received from my wife for my birthday. I saw it at our jeweler’s and was instantly hooked. The sweeping hand caught my eye and our jeweler educated me on the new style Precisionist movement. I had to have it! It was a great surprise! The look is fantastic and the feel on the wrist is incredibly comfortable. I love the classy, retro look and the technology behind the movement. Best of the best!
Beautiful. It sits very confortable on my wrist, did take all the extra links. The way the dial plays with the light, the bezel, and that seconds hand… so smooth. If Bulova gave me an extra discount, I’d get the blue one right away.
Great looker and comfy, my second Seville
I first purchased the Blue dial version and wasn't sure before I received it (never went square before). One day of wearing it and I knew I'd be getting the Green one. Aaaaand now I'm considering the Gold/White version. I love these watches as they are striking but reserved, classy with a great internal and bracelet. My favorite part of these Seville's is the fluted bezel, they seem to dance under the light.
