Drawing inspiration from the incredible Bulova Super Seville Day-Date from the 1970s, the new Super Seville merges retro aesthetics with state-of-the-art Precisionist technology for a timeless modern appeal. The gold-tone stainless steel 38mm case has the versatility to be worn by most anyone and makes a bold statement with a seamless silhouette created by the retro TV-shaped case transitioning into the integrated 3-link stainless steel bracelet, which features a secure and convenient push-button deployant clasp. An elegant, grooved coin edge bezel enhances the case and surrounds the flat sapphire crystal and its date magnifier. The sophisticated vertical brushed dial is silver-white with polished hands and indices and a date situated perfectly at 3 o’clock. I’ve been looking for a good watch that has a rich look and substantial feel to it. I’m a fan of big watches. Always have been since the 80s and 90s. Most girls back then wore daintier pieces but since I’m tall i could pull them off. I just preferred the look and feel. I wanted something that looks and feels expensive at a manageable price point for me. This watch is gorgeous. Its shape is unique enough that it does not look like a copy of another famous watch. Everyone kept talking about the movement of the second hand sweep and it’s true. It’s a sight to behold. I’ve read and heard good things about Bulova for decades but never had the opportunity to have one. I did some research on the brand and liked what i read and found this one and just fell in love at first sight. The “TV” face shape is great it’s unique and i haven’t seen anything like it out there. The fluted bezel is rich beautiful and well done. It’s reminiscent of other fine watches yet still keeps its originality. The date magnification cyclops doesn’t bother me. I think it adds to the richness of the watch. I’m very happy with it and wear it almost daily. It’s very accurate. I work “against the clock” and bill for my time on a daily basis so I’m always keeping my time in check. I’m always staring at a watch whether a digital PC watch or a timepiece. This watch is easy to read at a glance so that helps. I already have my eye on other Bulova models! I hope to be a repeat customer.

I am deeply satisfied with the Super Seville. The gold finish garners attention at a glance and looks spectacular when observed intently for just a couple of seconds. The second hand sweep is flawless and mesmerizing. The fluted bezel and "TV shape" of the case add tremendous sex appeal to the watch, same with the alternating finishes of the band. All of this to say, the watch seduces you. My only "complaint" would be the cyclops or the magnification level of it. Personally, I think the watch would look better without it, and the clarity of the date can be tricky to discern unless you view it at the correct angle. It takes some practice, but it's easy to get used to. Aside from that, I have zero regrets about purchasing this masterpiece, which earns that title not only for the way it looks, but due to the fact that it is accurate to 10 seconds PER YEAR! The Super Seville is a beautiful watch. Definitely see and feel the quality. Love the second hand movement. I got the gold with white dial and tempted to order the two tone with black dial and possibly even the gold with black dial.
