An uncompromising redesign of one of Bulova’s most celebrated models, the new men’s Marine Star Series B watch strikes the perfect balance between form and function. Perfectly sized at 41mm, the stainless steel case features 200m of water resistance, a screw-down crown, and a sapphire crystal, while its new unidirectional bezel has a bi-colour aluminum insert with a timing scale. Complementing the black and silver bezel, the sunray dial shifts from silver to black, while bold, luminous hands and hour markers ensure optimal legibility above and below the waves. The watch is paired with an HNBR rubber strap and has a case back crystal to show off the automatic movement with 42 hours of power. Love the new Marine Star
Received my Marine Star last week and really like it. The dial is easy to read, the hands are luminous at night and it just looks really sporty and professional. I alternate between this watch and another Bulova (the military inspired "hack" watch.). Love them both. My reason for only 4 stars on the Marine Star is the band is super long and I don't have particularly thick wrists. So the tail of the band extends almost to the edge of the other side of my wrist. Not a huge problem. I ordered an aftermarket band that I've used before in standard size with same lug width (20mm). This should make it perfect. I look forward to many years enjoying my new Marine Star!
