The return of an icon: The men’s Caravelle Sea Hunter is reborn for the modern age. Inspired by one of Caravelle’s most celebrated models, the new Caravelle Sea Hunter is sized for modern tastes at 39mm, with a case crafted from 316L stainless steel and echoing the sporting form of the original. Ensuring ideal legibility and functionality, a high-contrast black dial with a date display and luminescent hands and markers is complemented by a matching rotating 60-minute timing bezel. The Caravelle Sea Hunter is powered by a 21-jewel automatic movement with a power reserve of 42 hours. Paired with a 3-link stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp and rated to 200m water resistance, this watch can go wherever you do so you can do whatever you want. Bought this watch on a whim and i am very happy that i did, i own several Seiko’s and micro brand watches and none of them offer the heritage and vintage style that this watch offers, “Devil Diver” i mean come on you gotta love that. The aluminum bezel has plenty of grip and is easy to turn but it is a little crunchy however I personally feel like it adds to charm the watch. The bracelet is what surprised me the most, it is very comfortable on the wrist and the quick disconnect is a great feature, the expansion link for a dive suit is also very nice and sticks to its roots of a true divers watch. Miyota movement is very reliable and accurate, so far i love the watch and will be wearing it as much as i can.

I’m very pleased with the Bulova/Caravelle Sea Hunter. I like the reliable workhorse automatic movement that was chosen for this 1969 reissue. The 39mm case size seems perfect and I really like the yellow/gold indices which really makes this watch look & feel like a 60-70s vintage diver.
This really is an outstanding watch and a great value. I wore it out today for the first time and got a compliment straight away. I have watches that cost much more that are never noticed. I also love the Bulova\Caravelle dive watch history an hope someday Bulova will remake the Super Compressor.
You will not find a better watch for this price. Super quality, certified dive watch, vintage elements but modern watch. I’ve been looking for a 39mm watch for weeks and as soon as I saw this Devil Diver I knew that was it! This watch says it all: sporty, classy, solid construction, & true to its own heritage. Looks just as great on a black strap!! I absolutely love it!!
great size, fun re-issue gives that feel of late 1950'2 to early 1960's dive watch bravado with a modern size. I love mine
This is a vintage automatic watch with very distinctive design and features. I love the patina look of the hands. The dome Cristal give a great hour reading. The bracelet is comfortable and Bulova fixed it to my wrist sizes. I am in love with the watch. Thank you.
Seeing some reviews online about the Sea Hunter I had to get my hands on one. When I did I was super pleased with my purchase. For the money to get an originally American watch brand on your wrist that has diving capabilities and an original design is great. I really do recommend this to anyone wanting a great watch. 10/10
I've been researching divers for months for a good starting point into watch collecting. The Sea Hunter stood out, with it's history, classic style and quality. I've had it a few weeks and love it! To get a better watch, I feel I would have had to pay multiples of this. This is a keeper!
A watch at this price point should not be as good. I’m totally blown away by the quality of this watch.

I purchased this watch direct from Bulova last week at the discounted rate and was very pleased when it arrived with the quality of the watch, especially given the price paid for it. The bracelet was easy to adjust (push pins),the case and bracelet finishing is great and the vintage look is spot on from the original. The 39 mm size is just right, the bezel aligns perfectly and it's keeping pretty good time, running just a bit fast but within specs. I think Caravelle could have a good future reissuing vintage designs from its past and providing great value for money, even if it costs a bit more than previous offerings. There is a strong demand for vintage designs and Caravelle could fill this nicely while leaving Bulova to meet the much wider expectations of a mainstream brand. This is a great first step for Caravelle and I highly recommend this watch.
This watch is not only fantastically positioned as a ISO certified diver (200M and screwdown crown) for under $400, its even in a classy case size, and it even is a reissue of a legendary dive watch with amazing history. This is a marriage of price, quality, design and history, this is what being a watchmaker is all about in the modern era. This watch is literally so nice I feel the need to buy a second one sometimes because I love it so much I panic it won't be available one day.

One of the best re-issues available and perhaps ever. Impressed! Highly recommend to any watch enthusiast who of course can’t take their vintage Bulova’s / Caravelle’s swimming anymore like me!

No Brainer
A no brainer if you are looking for a vintage-inspired automatic diver. Proven movement, quality build, and beautiful fit on my ~6.75” wrist. Has become my daily since it arrived. Future improvements I would like to see are a no-date version with no ghost position, and a thicker application of lume.
Awesome Watch
The watch is awesome the only complaint I have is the Lumina since it's patina color is a little on the dim side.
