MY Time
From the very first interaction with Bulova I had the reassurance that my time was valued. They respected the timelines of the order process, right down to choosing Fed Ex as the shipper. A company that is also predicated on respecting time. Yes, I could have kept checking the time on my cell phone or my smartwatch, however, this year and from now on - I'm on MY Time. The "Caravelle Devil Diver" is absolutely my style watch.
Great devil diver!
Very stoked to add this to my collection. Since I was born in the late 60s, I tend to like the skin divers from that time. Love that they referenced themselves, and didnt have to homage anyone. Watch is well made and works great. Love the look!
Amazing Watch
I can’t begin to describe how amazing this watch is. Such a vintage throw back, it gives me vibes of a classic Omega Seamaster 300, and this is coming from someone who owns an Omega. The watch is superb for something under $500 and wears very well. The Miyota 8000 series is a workhorse and with the hacking seconds and date feature is very well received. Mine currently runs at a deviation of +6 a day, right at the tail end of COSC Certification, punching well above its weight class and keeping the same time as my Tudor. There are some drawbacks to the watch, which in my opinion, are easily overlooked by the amazing price. First, I wish the case width was slimmer. I have no idea why a Miyota 8000 series is in a case over 14mm tall - maybe to accommodate the depth rating? And secondly, my inner watch nerd wishes there was a Sapphire Crystal ontop of the dial, preferably with some anti-reflective coating. I’m not complaining about the Mineral Crystal that comes with it - it gives the watch a murky look to it in low light, further adding to the vintage look - I just wish they went with Sapphire instead. Overall I can’t be disappointed with this watch, for under $500, this piece is a steal and well worth it. I can’t keep it off my wrist and look forward to wearing it on vacation in the ocean.
Classic piece
A home run in my books. Perfect size and a nice history to this piece. I wish it had a sapphire crystal but not a deal breaker. For the price it’s a no brainer.
