The new Bulova Sutton pocket watch allows you to experience the foundation of American watchmaking, when American watchmakers like Joseph Bulova were at the forefront of timekeeping and pocket watches were de rigueur. The sophisticated polished gold-tone stainless steel case has a mineral crystal and features a winding crown guarded by a bow that adds a modern edge to this classic silhouette. The gold-tone dial features silver-tone roman numerals and hands, with an openworked dial that offers a view at the timepiece’s inner workings. The skeletonized automatic movement that powers the watch has 21 jewels and a power reserve of 42 hours. The historic look is completed with a 15-inch gold-tone stainless steel chain that ends in a tuning fork spring clip for secure attachment. Quality pocket watch
Bulova Sutton pocket watch a clear winner .. bought in gold finish .. solidly made, water resistant to 30 metres .. chain is a bit overkill for its 15" length, but Bulova cannot predetermine the watch location and carrying method for everyone so this is understandable .. better too long than too short .. I ordered a separate leather pocket watch belt carrier thru a gal from Ukraine that comes with its own leather strap shorter chain that can be interchanged with the Bulova chain .. I found the gold Sutton so nicely done that I just purchased its silver twin Sutton and shall order another case for it .. I considered the Bulova Wilton 48 mm flip top 96A309 pocket watch also, but it is not rated for water resistance at all, so i sprung for the second Sutton ..
