This is a stainless steel clock, not too large, the size is perfect for our dining room. The second hand has a very smooth sweep, it looks very elegant and has enough contrast to be read from many angles and distances. The dial is tinted onto the glass, giving it a very distinguished look, projecting shadows of the dial on the clock's face depending on lighting conditions. Another big plus, it's silent, accurate, and takes a single AA battery. We've owned it for a month now, and we love it!
