Empire Anniversary Clock is an elegant contemporary styled clock. The dark Espresso finish truly accentuates the silver clock face and pendulum. The beveled glass on the front and the leaded glass effect on the sides allow light to shine in on the rotating pendulum which sparkles with 8 faceted crystals. The face of the clock has Arabic numbers and spade style hands. Included is a silver engraving plate that you can personalize to celebrate any occasion. This clock has a accurate quartz non-chiming movement that operates on 2 "AA" batteries (not included).

Looks good from afar….
I am very disappointed that this clock is almost entirely made of plastic. Even the front panel seems to be the only piece of glass in the surround. When spending hundreds on a clock, I expect more. Ultimately, it turns out I spent the money for the name.
