Product Description

With the new men’s Oceanographer GMT, Bulova brings exceptional functionality to one of its iconic designs. The stainless-steel case features a curved silhouette, a box sapphire crystal, a blue-and-red bidirectional rotating 24-hour bezel, and a screw-down crown providing 200m of water resistance. A brilliant blue dial is accented by tasteful pops of red, with applied luminescent hour markers, bold hands including a 24-hour hand and featuring luminescent paint, and a date display. An independently adjusted hour hand allows for easy setting of the local time. The Oceanographer GMT is powered by a self-winding GMT movement with 24-jewels and a power reserve of 42 hours, protected by a screw-down caseback. Paired with a matching five-link bracelet with a sport foldover clasp. Eminently wearable and classically designed, this men’s Bulova timepiece is ready to keep up, wherever you go.

Beautiful GMT at a competitive price

I've had this for a couple weeks now and I'm very pleased. I have an Apple watch that I also use often but I tire of having to charge it constantly and it doesn't always connect smoothly. The specification calls for -10 to +30 seconds per day but my experience so far is that its operating tolerance out of the box is much better than +/- 40 seconds per day total. Very pleased with my decision to purchase.

Great looking watch.

This watch looks great on the wrist. Combination of red and blue color on the dial really pops up the look for this watch. Very clean dial.

A Great Addition to the Devil Diver Lineup

I am a huge fan of the Devil Diver watches that have been released through Bulova's Archive Series. Now, with the release of the Oceanographer GMT, I am thrilled to attain my first ever GMT through the Devil Diver lineup. I've been warned by other watch enthusiasts beforehand that I might get lost in the world of GMTs, but I decided to just commit and experience the watch myself. After receiving the watch in the mail and seeing it in person, I could immediately sense the level of refinement put into making this watch. The 9000 series movement with the GMT complication gives the familiar face of the Oceanographer Devil Diver a whole new dimension. The milled clasp and the quick release spring bars for strap changes are also very welcomed upgrades. Comparing them side by side, the GMT isn't as devilishly aggressive looking as it's dive watch counterpart. However, it is a beautiful watch and is most certainly bold in its own right. Despite the hefty price tag and my infrequent use of the GMT function, I hope that I'll still get some solid experience with the other two variants. I'm really glad Bulova expanded their Devil Diver line up and am looking forward to what may come next.

Bulova Response Thank you for your wonderful review and for being a fan of our Archive Series watches. Our new Oceanographer GMT is fresh twist on the classic Devil Diver with the added GMT function. Every design detail was considered and elevated for this new watch. And we are happy to hear that you appreciate the fine craftsmanship. Stay tuned to our website for what comes next!
